does season mode really suck this year, seriously apart from the original smackdown vs raws season mode (which was god awful for those of you who remember) their hasnt really been a worse one since just bring it, and as thats not far od 10 years old its not really a fair comparison. Anyone else thinking the same?

Yeah it's pretty bad. Watching the same ridiculous cut scenes over and over is quite annoying... The storylines don't help either. Not to mention JR/Cole starting to advertise PPVs always a bit too early ("We're just 256 weeks away from *insert PPV here*")  lol |

Poor show for years imo. The only thing I care for is creating. Strange really, since I never even use them. I dunno how long it's going to last for me TNA- here I come (fingers crossed) |

it depends really. its all about becoming a legend. so if you were to use someone like undertaker it would bee quick. but if you used a CAW it would take a lot longer. i used Jeff Hardy and playing for about an hour a day it took me 2 weeks to beat it. i only went though about a year and a half |

i hate both the GM and 24/7 modes their just to long i feel and by that i mean every 3 months you get a repeate of nearly the same cutscene you had last month and just some stupid booking, i still prefer SD 2's season mode the best smackdown season of them all even though it had no realy storyline in it at any point

smackdown 2 was awesome. no real storylines? there was lots. the rikishi dance, austin with the crane, dudleyz with the tables, that unknown guy that you fight backstage. the New Age Outlaws (Oh you didn't know...your *$$ better call somebodyyyyyyy) sorry, got carried away lol

Yeah Season mode is FAAAAAR too long. I like the addition of daily activities, but it takes so damn long to load your results that it's not even worth it. And even worse, when you train, it takes longer than loading a match just to do four moves.
The worst part of it all is that simming days to get past training and stuff can force the game to making decisions for you, and causing you fatigue at random.

I have no interest in Season mode. The only reason I've played it in years past is to unlock the belts. I'd rather set up my own matches and play through them.

Some point, we gotta have a revolution in terms of gameplay and content. Soon I pray.
For instance, why is the crowd so dead? always has been. No rise or fall in electricity.. They give about as much a toss as I do to these stagnant boring matches. Get the crowd involved in the momentum of matches FGS

They should maybe shorten the season and add some surprises. for example imagine if say you were playing as edge and in the middle of a match the lights out dark and U see taker chokeslam Edge when the lights come back on. sort of how Taker on smackdown has been hunting and haunting for weeks. minds games at its best  |

I enjoy GM mode rather then season mode. It is more fun to turn Smackdown into Classic WCW with the 30 caw slots on my game |
