Title: Garth Finds Audience Right Where He Left Them

After two hours of playing on stage at the Encore Theater at Wynn on Friday, February 12, the lights came up, the show was over and Garth Brooks went backstage to have dinner. Around fifteen minutes went by when a stagehand came back and told Garth he wouldn’t believe it, but the audience was still there, standing like they were when he left the stage. Thinking he was joking, Garth went out to check it himself and it was no joke, the whole crowd was still standing, the entire crowd. Having such a loyal fan base and wanting to return their adoration, Garth grabbed his guitar, walked back out on stage and played another 45 minutes! Afterwards, Garth was quoted as saying: “I’ve never seen anything like it in my career.”

not too many people could stay gone as long as he did and still come back just as popular as the day he left. if i could afford it i would definitely see one of his shows. one day... until then i'll have to settle for his dvds, which still entertain me plenty :)
