January 12, 2010 - Marvel movie fans have no doubt heard the news by now. Spider-Man 4 is no more. Instead, Sony has chosen to reboot the franchise and offer a new Spider-Man film set during Peter Parker's high school years. This new, untitled Spidey film is currently set to debut in 2012. We imagine fans are reacting to this news with a mixture of confusion, apprehension, and optimism. This could easily be a strong move for a franchise many agree stumbled in its third installment. On the other hand, a reboot could fail to capture what made the past three films so memorable in the first place.

Seriously? Why make a 4th, when it should have been the first? Love how people are screwing with good movies. Undecided
