Hey guys, I’m one who never likes to mess with the main things with my PC although now I’m happy I did, I’ve never done much serious cleaning of my comp at all and when the free space kept dropping I thought might as well clean something up, did a disk clean up that gave me 6 more gigs, did a refrag and stuff got faster and less crashing, tried that ccleaner for the registry and this **** is running awesome, never been this smooth since the early days we had it. Now things are currently running great, I don’t know why I didn’t try this **** sooner.

i think he meant DEfrag lol
i always use CCleaner for disc/registry cleanup
be sure to check the "Windows Error Reporting" box. that can easily remove GBs of junk if it hasn't been done in a long time

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Disk Cleanup/Disk Defragmentor

well thats where they are for me, took me about 4 hours to run defrag so do it when your not wanting to use the comp Wink, the clean up can take a few minutes so thats not that bad

should be on the main tab, just scroll down some.
some say do "DNS Cache" as well but its been reported to cause some problems so thats up to you if you want to try it
"Wipe Free Space" works good if you want to remove all the data of stuff you've deleted. Takes a bit of time though so i wouldn't do it every time.
