TNA issued the following statement on Friday night confirming the departure of Velvet Sky (Jamie Lynn Szantyr) from the roster following the latest set of Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando from Universal Studios.

IMPACT WRESTLING today announced a mutual decision with TNA Knockouts veteran Velvet Sky to not renew her agreement.

Sky’s final in-ring appearance with TNA occurred in Orlando earlier today and will broadcast on an upcoming episode of IMPACT WRESTLING seen Tuesday nights at 9/8c on Pop.

‘This has been my home for 10 years and, no matter what happens in my future, I will never forget where I’ve come from or the people who have helped me get where I am,’ said Sky. ‘Thank you to everyone at TNA – from talent to production to crew -who has helped me do what I love.’

Sky is best known as being part of The Beautiful People stable in TNA with Angelina Love and Madison Rayne. She had originally left the company last January and then made a return to television in May 2015.

thats pretty much where everyone goes nowadays. its not a bad thing though, as at least down there they get used. you'll be lost on raw/sd and may not even do anything. not to mention a lot of your skills go down the drain, as well as match quality  Sad

If WWE is where she went though, I wonder if they would let her keep the name. A lot of folks recently have been keeping their names

True. I guess it depends on whether or not tna owns the rights for it.

Yeah, wouldn't doubt that they passed on it with the others like Joe, Aries, Storm, Roode, and the few others that have came over/looking to come over
