TNA and Global Force Wrestling founder Jeff Jarrett is said to be heading back to TNA beginning at tonight’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings from Orlando at Universal Studios in a consultant role according to multiple wrestling media reports.

Jarrett founded TNA back in 2002 and parted ways with company in 2013, creating Global Force Wrestling in 2014. Jarrett has since made appearances for TNA in 2015, including his induction into the TNA Hall of Fame as a way for then-TNA President Dixie Carter to obtain Jarrett’s remaining minority shares of the company making her the 100% owner at the time.

Anthem Sports & Entertainment announced yesterday the creation of Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions, LLC to acquire majority interest of TNA. Dixie Carter has officially resigned from her role as Chairman of Impact Ventures and will stay on as a “minority equity stakeholder” in the company. As reported earlier, Anthem reached out to Jarrett in the last couple of months prior to their official purchase of TNA and confirmed the talks with Fight Network.

With this new partnership, Anthem will reportedly be assisting Jarrett in securing a TV deal for his upstart Global Force Wrestling promotion as Jarrett, something Jarrett has been unable to accomplish since filming the pilot episodes for the “Amped” TV show back in 2015. Jarrett is expected to continue his duties with Global Force Wrestling along with his consulting role in TNA. Jarrett, his wife Karen Jarrett and former TNA writer and WWE manager Dutch Mantell (Zeb Colter, who worked for Jarrett for many years in TNA when Jarrett ran the creative team) are said to be in the Orlando area where tonight’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings are being held. Also said to be making their returns to the company at the tapings Davey Richards (returning from injury) and former TNA Knockouts Champions Angelina Love and Brooke Tessmacher.
