Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself.

I'm wondering if they are going to start from the very beginning with Simon Belmont, or move towards any of the other Belmont family.
While i feel like it won't happen until much later if at all, I would love to see Alucard in this.

From what I've read so far, it's supposed to be based on Castlevania 3. Which is a prequel to the original game so it appears they are starting at the earliest point possible.

It's also the same game that introduced Alucard, the son of Dracula, who fights against him on the good side. So maybe theres hope of seeing him at some point. Theres been a lot of jokes over the years about his name being dracula spelled backwards, but it works lol.

Yeah ive always enjoyed it. As far as the castlevania games go, symphony of the night has always been number one. Theres never been a discussion witjout someone putting it at number one. Pretty much the measuring stick for all castlevania games. Still one of the most valuable ps1 games there is

Yeah its easily findable and playable on epsxe. And well worth it. Its got 4 different endings. Even when most ps1 games were pushing 3d, they stuck with 2d and i feel like it payed off well.

Castlevania renewed for Season 2

Netflix has renewed its animated Castlevania series for a second season.

While the first season of the video game-inspired adaptation spans four episodes, Netflix has increased the episode count for Season 2 to eight.

Season 1 of Castlevania debuted today, July 7, on the streaming service. The animated series follows the final surviving member of the Belmont clan, who's trying to thwart the efforts of Vlad Dracula Tepe and save Eastern Europe.

Adi Shankar, the producer of Netflix's new Castlevania series, announced earlier this week that he's working on an animated series based on another popular video game franchise, Assassin's Creed.
