Documentary filmmaker Johnny Bravo recently conducted and released an interview with Richard Rodriguez, the former owner of Iron Addicts Gym in Miami, who is now in prison after being busted in a DEA steroid raid in February of last year.

Rodriguez’s gym was raided back in February of last year due to suspicion of steroid production and distribution, and in the interview released by Bravo, Rodriguez alleges several high profile names were his clients. Those names include actors Josh Duhamel and Mark Wahlberg, along with current WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns.

Rodriguez discloses Roman Reigns’ name at the 4:10 mark in the video above, to Johnny Bravo, who is currently in the process of producing a special intended to debunk what happened with the DEA raid at the Iron Addicts Gym. Rodriguez claims he was introduced to the “down to earth” Reigns through an informant in the case, and Rodriguez is now disclosing Reigns, in addition to the other two celebrities, because it is part of the “tried and true statements” in the case’s discovery process.

As of this writing, neither WWE nor Roman Reigns have spoken out about the allegations made by Rodriguez.

Below is the YouTube synopsis for the above interview clip:

It’s been a long road, It all started from a small 3 min WFN video I made on youtube which has then landed me in the middle of one of the biggest scandals in history. As been promised for a long time, Richard Rodriquez is on LIVE to disclose more names and these aren’t just names.. they are 3 A-LIST Celebrities that were involved in WFN including Mark Wahlberg, ROMAN REIGNS & JOSH DUHAMEL .There is more to come in my investigation of uncovering the Mystery Behind Iron Addicts Gym. Earlier this week rumor began circulating of a major steroid ring bust in connection with WWE Superstar and current Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns.

Richard Rodriguez, former owner of Miami’s Iron Addicts Gym and Wellness Fitness Nutrition, had his facilities raided in early 2017 and was arrested along several others in connection with a massive steroid distribution ring. In a recent video by YouTube “filmmaker” Jon Bravo, he claims to interview Rodriguez in the interest of clearing his name and “revealing the truth” being the incident. During the conversation several high profile names were linked to the scandal including Roman Reigns, who was accused of being a former client.

The WWE star released a statement to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, completely denying these claims. “I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition,” Reigns said. “I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it.”

Roman also claims that since his suspension for violating the WWE Wellness Policy he’s passed “11 tests as part of WWE’s independent drug testing program.”

As we reported earlier this week, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns was recently named as a client by Richard Rodriguez, the former owner of a Miami gym and supplement store that was arrested in connection with a massive steroid distribution ring.

Rodriguez put out a video through YouTube “filmmaker” Jon Bravo, implication the Intercontinental Champion as well as other unnamed WWE performers and even major Hollywood actors like Mark Wahlberg. Reigns then released a statement through WWE dismissing these claims, and even went so far as to say he’s never met or even heard of Richard Rodriguez or his Wellness Fitness Nutrition company.

While discussing the situation in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer compared it to the 2007 raid of Signature Pharmacy in Orlando where several WWE stars were linked to prescription steroids. That list included Randy Orton, Edge, Booker T, John Morrison, William Regal and several others including the late Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Eddie “Umaga” Fatu.

The difference in these situations is that there was a paper trail directly implicating the WWE stars (and one office member) with Signature Pharmacy after it was raided by Florida law enforcement and the Albany district attorney opened an investigation. In this case, it’s just the word of a man in prison naming names against a popular WWE star who claims he’s never even met the guy. There doesn’t appear to be any paper trail, or any proof whatsoever, other than the list of names Rodriguez allegedly gave to the courts when he took a plea bargain.

Meltzer also noted that even if Reigns was somehow proven to be a part of this Miami steroid ring, the most likely outcome is that he’d simply be suspended by WWE for 60 days, as it would be his second violation of the Wellness Policy. The 2007 incident set a precedent that even though those performers weren’t all tested at the time, the evidence against them by the D.A. was enough to earn them a “strike”.

More news on the Roman Reigns steroid scandal front. Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported before that Reigns was involved in a ten million dollar steroid ring. There is now more to add in this storied affair. The party that are making the allegations that Reigns is involved state now that they have proof he purchased the substances. They say details will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Reigns on separate occasions denied the knowledge with the involvement of others and the drug dealer. WWE thus far has treated this story as non-existent.

If irrefutable evidence (pictures or videos) comes to the surface in this scandal prior to WrestleMania 34, this could mean the revocation of a substantial main eventer for the company. This would force WWE to invoke a 60 day suspension under their Wellness Policy
