This is how you do an HD remake, lol. I don't think I've seen graphics like this on the PS4 yet.

I never actually played the original, but I've always wanted to. I remember playing the demo a few times on a ps2 demo disc. Back when that was a thing lol.

I wasnt really into that many games back then. It was mainly WWE, NFS, and at the time Madden. I did pick up a few tony hawks, and dave mirra bmx games... I miss those  Undecided

This does look pretty sweet though coming from ps2 days.

Yeah its got more of a god of war style gameplay but a lot less violent. Back before god of war was a thing lol. Probably more comparative to the recent tomb raider games. Kinda hard to explain.

Its may feel simple on some levels compared to games now. Its like an action/adventure game. Theres no like yowns or people to interact with. You just roam around trying to find the colossus and figure out their weakness to defeat them and save this girl

Haha no thats a boy you play as trying to save a girl. But ign gave the ps2 version a 9.7 rating. And i believe the first game before this one got a similar rating, but it was just called "Ico". Im just wondering if this will be a complete remaster or a port of the ps3 hd remaster. Im really confused on it as some sites are calling it a remaster, and others are calling it a remake.

Edit: After further research i dug up a bit of info...

It is a remake of the original PlayStation 2 game using ultra-high definition art assets. The remake is led by Bluepoint. The developers remade all the game's assets from the ground up, but the game retains the same gameplay from the original title aside from the introduction of a new control scheme. The game uses the original codebase from the PlayStation 2 game. The art staff used the PlayStation 2 version to create parity with the PlayStation 4 version.[
